A reduced-order cutFEM approach to model complex moving sound sources

چکیده

While traditional finite element based vibro-acoustic analysis of structures is done on stationary structures, in many occasions the structure under investigation actually moving. To perform accurate performance such requires evaluation a time-varying system, leading to several challenges. Of paramount importance are strategy update mesh new configuration and an adequate time integration scheme that does not introduce large numerical artifacts. Additionally, nature leads increase computational complexity. In this paper modeling cut elements (cutFEM) introduced aims tackle these The cutFEM approach can be seen as fictitious domain which source moving over static mesh, cutting through where actual located, using level set description. key advantage no remeshing and/or morphing required. It shown how both implicit explicit schemes used propagate solution while model order reduction strategies compared speed up online reduced model.

The Simulation of Moving Sound Sources-

A digital computer was used to generate four channels of information, which are recorded on a tape recorder. The computer program provides control over the apparent location and movement of a synthesized sound in an illusory acoustical space. The method controls the distribution and amplitude of direct and reverberant signals between the loudspeakers to provide the angular and distance informat...

A Novel Approach for Preparation of Acetylacetonate Complex Anchored to High Order Nanoporous Silica (LUS-1)

Tris(3-bromo-acetylacetonato) chromium(III) as an inert and very stable complex with a good leaving group was synthesized using as-prepared Cr(acetylacetonate)3. Highly ordered nanoporous silica (LUS-1), with some great features, was functionalized with 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane. Then the as-prepared product was modified with tris(3-bromo-acetylacetonato) chromium(III) under mild reaction co...

Segregating Complex Sound Sources through Temporal Coherence

A new approach for the segregation of monaural sound mixtures is presented based on the principle of temporal coherence and using auditory cortical representations. Temporal coherence is the notion that perceived sources emit coherently modulated features that evoke highly-coincident neural response patterns. By clustering the feature channels with coincident responses and reconstructing their ...

Rotating magneto-thermoelastic rod with finite length due to moving heat sources via Eringen’s nonlocal model

The article is concerned with a new nonlocal model based on Eringen’s nonlocal elasticity and generalized thermoelasticity. A study is made of the magneto-thermoelastic waves in an isotropic conducting thermoelastic finite rod subjected to moving heat sources permeated by a primary uniform magnetic field and rotating with a uniform angular velocity. The Laplace transform technique with respect ...

On-line Blind Separation of Moving Sound Sources

In this paper, we propose a method for the on-line blind separation of sound sources in the case where the mixing filters have a Æ-shaped impulse response. Our algorithm works entirely in the frequency domain and exhibits fast convergence due to cross-frequency couplings. Specific problems related to on-line separation of running speech are discussed. The algorithm performs successful separatio...
